1, #187 - Impossible to summarize
Estimated Read Time: 37 seconds.
Some things can’t be summarized. This whole newsletter is about curation and compression, but this week I read something that absolutely refuses to be distilled.
Describing it as “a story about someone trying to find the best free bread in America” does it about the same justice as calling Lord of the Rings, “a story about a group hike to a volcano.”
So this 1 is less of an efficient synopsis and more like a glowing restaurant review: I can’t give you the experience. I can only encourage you to go have it for yourself.
So, take the extra seconds you’d normally spend with this email and go start reading it!
(Worth it, even if you must spend a few of those seconds starting a free trial with the Atlantic.)
Insight inspired by redirecting you to: I Found It: The Best Free Restaurant Bread in America, by the genius Caity Weaver. And thanks to Banks Benitez for applying firm peer pressure to get me to read it.
